  • Can we meet up to discuss our event?

    Absolutely. This is something I highly recommend. It allows us to discuss your exact needs and requirements before the event. 

  • What styles of music can you offer?

    We can cater for most genres, including Rock & Roll, 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s, 2000’s, Motown, Northern Soul, Disco, Old Skool, Club Classics, House, Disco, Pop, Rock, Indie, Dubstep, R&B, and even Ballroom. If you have any special requests, please discuss when booking.

  • How loud will the music be?

    We aim to bring an appropriate amount of equipment for the event. We only use high-quality RCF professional active speakers and play at an appropriate level for the venue and crowd. Not too loud as to drown out the room, but not too quite as to not create an atmosphere. We very often get complimented on the quality of the sound.

  • I would like background music during the meal or the buffet?

    Where this has been agreed as part of the booking period no additional charges apply. However, if it’s prior to the event additional charges might apply. We will provide these costs at the time of your inquiry.

  • Do you have a microphone we could use for speeches?

    Yes, let us know you when you make the booking that you would like to use a microphone for speeches. We have a combination of wired and wireless microphone that could be made available. 

  • Can you compere at my event?

    Yes, we have experience of compering a variety of different events. Let us know what you require when making the booking.

  • Do you have a dress code?

    Yes, this is really important, especially for formal occasions like a wedding reception. We believe in dressing smartly on occasions like this.

  • What is DJ Produb Licence?

    DJI Disco Promotions hold a current DJ Produb Licence. This is issued by the Performing Rights Society (PRS) and is a requirement for all DJ’s providing digital music within licensed venues. 

  • Do you offer a written contract?

    Absolutely. A contract establishes our obligation to you and outlines everything required in the process, including our setup requirements (which are minimal) and other factors related to your event. For this reason, a written contract is absolutely essential to us, and we believe that any DJ not using a written contract should not, in our opinion, be considered for your event.
